Areas of South-East Spain
Which of these areas is right for you?
Costa Blanca North
The
Costa to the North of Alicante up to Denia is picturesque
and green. Dramatic mountains sweep down into scenic valleys
scattered with orange groves and pine trees and the valleys
lead you towards the beautiful coastlines.
Buildings are predominately low-rise, with many stunning
detached villas.
Valencia airport is the northern option and Alicante in the
south with easy access to the A7 motorway that runs through
all of the major coastal towns from France all the way to
Malaga.

tip of the Mar Menor there are lively cosmopolitan towns with
every amenity that a thriving multi-cultural community requires.
The
infrastructure is well established so no need to worry about
health or education – all the facilities are here. There
are some fantastic Spanish villages if you are looking for
the ‘real Spain’.
Beach and Golf lovers will be in their element in Costa Blanca
South and if fine wine and good food is what you're after
you then you’ll be spoiled for choice. This is the place
to experience some of the most exciting Fiestas.
There are a wide variety of building types from studio apartments
in the centre of a bustling tourist town to remote rustic
fincas in the countryside – and everything in between.
Alicante airport is well served from the UK and the airport
at San Javier, often referred to as Murcia airport is located
in a great position for visitors to both Costa Blanca and
Costa Calida. The views of the Mar Menor as you fly into San

Costa Cálida & Costa de Almeria
The
region has more than 200 km of coastline, which lies between
Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol. The Mar Menor is a wonderful
lagoon ideal for water enthusiasts and famous for its mud
baths.
Orange, lemon and olive groves grow in abundance and there
is a real Moorish influence to the style of buildings and
in the culture generally. Just like the Costa Blanca, these
areas benefit from 320 days of sunshine each year and the
mild winters and bright blue skies are truly therapeutic.
There is a new airport being built in Costa Calida - close
to Murcia city at Corvera. Almeria has its own airport right
near the wonderful city of Almeria, famed for its up-market
shops and commercial centre.
