A delightful coastal town with 15 km of beautiful sandy beach just 8 minutes drive from the main Almeria Airport in Costa Almeria and only 16 minutes to the city of Almeria.

One of the main features in Retamar is the suburb Costa Toyo golf resort set in beautiful surroundings, right on the beach, with Cabo de Gata national park nearby.

El Toyo golf resort has an 18 hole golf course and having played it we can confirm that it’s a challenge (as always). It has wide fairways but some tricky bunkers and cleverly positioned traps for the unwary. 18 holes for £21.00 with fantastic views and a cool club house to return to after the game.
