La Sella is an 18 hole, par 72 course, playing 6289 metres
from the back tees. It was designed by Juan de la Cuadra and
opened in 1991 so is well established. In addition to the
superb hotel there is a putting green, driving range, restaurants,
buggy hire, and clubhouse, changing rooms, showers, sauna,
club hire, pro shop and tuition available.

Hosted the 1994 Mediterranean Open and is an excellent challenge
to golfers of all standards. It’s a natural park style
course although the clubhouse could do with upgrading. It
costs 60 euros for 18 holes and 30 euros for 9 holes.

Set in a valley with breathtaking views. The most forgiving
of the courses and in excellent condition. The best of the
3 local courses. Magnificent clubhouse well worth visiting
just for lunch or dinner even if you are a non-golfer. Tel

Las Ramblas
A real golfing test – requires accuracy rather than
big hitting. Ravines, lakes, bridges, woodland – very
attractive course. Good for match play where you can ignore

La Finca
Only 6 years old but is probably the best course. Long and
interesting, lots of water. La Finca is approached from Exit
743 on the A37 to Algorfa. Go 2kms to Algorfa town, left at
traffic lights and follow road for about 3kms, and the course

Golf
Created in 1997 and offers a splendid 18 hole golf course,
PAR 72 and 6257 metres, on a mountain course overlooking the
sea. The club is an old restored farm house where you can
find a restaurant-cafeteria, changing rooms and golf shop.
There is also a driving range and putting green. The first
9 holes are entertaining and easier to play, with wide fairways
(which help tee shots) limited by pines, carob trees and palm
trees. On the contrary, the second 9 holes require a higher
concentration being more technical and precision is more important
than distance.
Bonalba Golf
An established 18 hole course that would suit all standards
of Golfer with a fantastic club house and lots for the non
golfer including the superb spa and well being centre shown
below – just 15 minutes from Alicante airport. 30% discount

18 hole course opened in 1989. Has driving range and practise
