Skiing in Spain
From the Pyrenees to Sierra Navada in Andalusia, you will
find excellent ski resorts. Remarkably whilst you will have
some people sunning themselves on the beach throughout the
winter, at the end of November the first snows usually arrive
in Spain and all twenty-nine ski resorts start operating again.
Fantastic facilities are available in the resorts providing
guests with a choice of activities. Spanish ski resorts have
exceptionally good infrastructure and access could not be
easier.
Sierra Navada 61km of slopes, 45 piste and 6 off-piste routes.
2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts. SN opens from
9am to 5pm although you can ski at night at weekends and bank
holidays along the El Rio slope. Pradollano is the main resort
village and here you will find good quality hotels with Jacuzzi,
squash courts, sauna and indoor swimming pools. There are
plenty of shops, clubs and bars in fact pretty much everything
you would expect from a good ski resort.
Buying a property on the coast but with easy access to Sierra
Navada is a great way to achieve the best of both worlds.
